Five Calgary eateries are among those featured on a new list of Canada’s 100 Best restaurants for 2025. The list, released on Wednesday, was generated by 160 judges representing a mix of culinary enthusiasts, food writers and critics, chefs, restaurateurs and other food service professionals. “Each judge is asked to submit a list of their top 10 restaurant experiences of the previous year,” explains the Canada’s 100 Best website. “Ranking them with consideration to service, décor, depth of the cellar and — above all else — food quality.” The Calgary spots featured on the 2025 list include: Other Alberta spots featured include Änkôr in Canmore, which Canada’s 100 Best says has “brilliantly integrated flavours, sensational textures and colourful plating.”
