Drugs, guns, a car and almost $40,000 worth of Pokémon cards were seized by police during recent raids on homes in and around Calgary. Search warrants were executed at three homes in Calgary and one in Airdrie on May 26 during a drug trafficking investigation. The Alberta RCMP’s rural organized crime team, with help from partner agencies, arrested three men and seized 100 grams of what’s believed to be cocaine, 3,586 grams of what’s believed to be cannabis marijuana, one gram of what’s believed to be methamphetamine and 22 tabs of what’s believed to be LSD. Police also seized six firearms, including four restricted handguns, a rifle and a carbine, as well as a 9 mm high-capacity drum-style magazine. And police also seized a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette and $39,781 worth of Pokémon cards, along with $7,215 in Canadian cash and six cellphones. Kyle McIntyre, 36, was charged with: Brendon Ross-Henderson, 33, was charged with: And David Chafe, 70, was charged with: All three are residents of Calgary. McIntyre remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 3. Ross-Henderson was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26. And Chafe was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on July 15.
