A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in a drive-thru in the northwest Calgary community of Brentwood on Thursday.

A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in a northwest Calgary drive-thru.

It happened at the Wendy’s in the Brentwood Shopping Centre in the 4100 block of Brentwood Road N.W. just after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say the victim, a pedestrian, suffered critical, life-threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for EMS says though paramedics tried to help her, she died at the scene.
