The City of Calgary is opening several of its golf courses on Tuesday, weather permitting. There is a chance of showers Tuesday – and rain expected Wednesday – but Maple Ridge (18), McCall Lake (18 and nine) and Shaganappi Point (18 and nine) are set to open on April 21. The driving range at Shaganappi will also be open on Tuesday with full club access. The opening dates for the remaining city-owned golf courses – Confederation Park (nine), Lakeview (nine) – will be announced later, as will the opening date for the driving ranges at McCall Lake and Confederation. Reservations are available through the city’s website.
