A Calgary man who won a $1 million on the lottery says he plans to give a portion of his windfall to his church. Kenneth Legall won his $1 million prize on the June 10 Lotto 6-49 Gold Ball draw from a ticket he purchased at the Circle K on Falsbridge Drive N.E. Legall says he discovered his win while checking a stack of lottery tickets in-store. “I saw a bunch of zeroes and thought maybe it was $100,000,” he said. “When I checked online later, I didn’t see any $100,000 prizes had been won, but someone from Calgary was listed as winning $1 million – and I realized it must be me!” Aside from helping his church, Legall says he plans to invest some of his money.
