K-Pop sensation P1Harmony are in Calgary this weekend as part of the K-Pop festival Jammy Con. The South Korean band, who formed in 2020, are headlining the convention at WinSport. One of P1Harmony’s members -- Keeho -- was born and raised in Ontario before moving to South Korea in the 11th grade. Before their concert Saturday night, P1Harmony had a meet-and-greet with a few pumped-up fans. “When I learned that they were going to Calgary, I got so excited, and yeah, we’re so happy to be here. Yeah, feels like a dream,” said one fan. “I’m Korean, but was born in Canada,” said another, “so it’s really cool to see how some part of my culture is like kind of expanded towards like not just K-pop, but beauty, just like you know, media (and) cinema, but we’re really big fans of P1Harmony, so we mainly came for their concert. But it’s really fun to like walk around and see all the vendors and different things they had going on too.” Jammy Con is Canada’s leading K-Pop festival. It started in April 2025 at West Edmonton Mall.
