Every week the Calgary Food Bank helps feed more than 15,000 people. To maintain stock on their shelves, they are delivering thousands of city-wide food drive bags to doorsteps across Calgary. You’re encouraged to fill a bag with non-perishable food items and on Saturday, a volunteer will pick it up. Calgarians can also donate items at various grocery stores across the city, or directly at the Calgary Food Bank warehouse on 11 Street S.E. Financial donations are also accepted.
