The Calgary Fire Department says no one was injured after a fire broke out at a building in the Beltline on Monday evening. Crews were called to the 700 block of 11 Avenue S.W., at 6:45 p.m. The fire was quickly dealt with. The building, which used to be Calgary’s Danish Canadian Club, has been blocked off since the organization moved to a new location in the northeast last year. The site is slated for demolition to make way for a future condominium complex. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
