Early breast cancer detection is the goal as Primary Care Alberta prepares to send a mobile mammography trailer to Tsuut’ina Nation. Primary Care Alberta (PCA) says free screenings will be available at its trailer, at the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex Oct. 14 and 15. Though there’s no cost, PCA says those interested must make an appointment. PCA is encouraging those who are eligible to do so. “Screening mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better,” PCA said in a release issued Wednesday. “Getting screened for breast cancer saves lives.” Appointments can be booked by calling 1-800-667-0604.
