A Lake Louise man has won $100,000 on a lottery ticket he bought in Calgary. James Gonzales purchased his winning Lotto Max and Extra ticket at the appropriately named Lucky Supermarket on Sunridge Way N.E. “I didn’t believe it,” he said in a Friday news release. “I thought it was $10,000… I had to have my wife look at it to confirm.” Gonzales says he’s going to pay off a new vehicle he recently purchased and then put a down payment on a home. “We’re thinking about possibly going on a family cruise,” he added. “It just feels overwhelming. I just can’t believe it!” Gonzales won his prize by matching the last six digits selected in the Extra draw on Aug. 26.
