Calgary police and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) are investigating a fatal workplace accident involving a forklift. Emergency crews were called to a business located at Four Industry Way S.E. at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday. OHS tells CTV News that one worker died after being struck by some equipment. “It is tragic when workers die or are injured on the job, and our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy,” OHS said in a statement. Initially, OHS said a second worker was injured, but a later statement from the organization said that detail was incorrect, and no other workers were injured.
