REGINA - A southern Ontario man is facing charges in Regina and possibly other Canadian cities after an investigation into fraudulent use of credit cards.

Police in the Saskatchewan capital say they answered calls last week from two hotels about someone using a fake credit card to book rooms.

A suspect was arrested and investigators say a search of both rooms turned up evidence of fraudulent use of credit card information as well as identity theft.

Ronnie Grant Sinclair, a 53-year-old resident of Mississauga, faces a total of 21 charges.

Eighteen of them are for the unauthorized use of credit card data.

Investigators are contacting police in other jurisdictions and expect more charges will be laid.
