Two men were taken to the hospital after a stabbing at a home on Wellington Street East, police say. Officers were called to the Barrie residence around 5 a.m. Sunday after an altercation broke out between two men who had attended a gathering for a mutual friend. A 21-year-old Springwater Township man was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. A 36-year-old Orillia man was also transported for injuries sustained during the altercation. The exact circumstances leading to the altercation remain unknown. Police say charges are now pending as the investigation continues.
