Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating the theft of a wallet in Gravenhurst on Tuesday when a person noticed their wallet was missing. Within hours, police say the thieves used the credit cards to accumulate several thousand dollars in charges. OPP arrested a 42-year-old Gravenhurst woman and charged her with possession of property obtained by crime and use of credit card. After releasing a photo suspect and thanks to assistance from the public, the second suspect was identified as 31-year-old Gravenhurst woman. She, too, was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime and use of credit card. Both women will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on December 15 to answer to her charges.
