Torrance home damaged by fire

A summer home was badly damaged by fire in Torrance.

Firefighters from Walker’s Point, Bala, Foot’s Bay and Port Carling attended the fire on Tuesday.

The fire was noticed by a neighbour as the home was unoccupied at the time.

More than 20 firefighters knocked down the flames in about 40 minutes.

Both the Ontario Provincial Police and Ontario Fire Marshal’s office are investigating.
