The sun shone on the icy water in Port Carling that day. Hospice Muskoka hosted an ice-water plunge in the Indian River to raise funds for Andy’s House. Half-a-dozen people took the plunge and in doing so, raised more than $25,000. “What an incredible day. Because of all of you, we crushed our $14,000 goal,” Jody Somerville, development and communications manager. “Whether you were there in person, or cheering us on from afar, you were part of something really special. Thank you to our brave plungers, everyone who stopped by, donated or supported from the sidelines,” Somerville said.
