Charges have been laid in an investigation of a series of break-ins that happened in Caledon over the summer. Provincial police detachments from Collingwood, Huronia West, Nottawasaga, Orillia, Southern Georgian Bay and Caledon joined forces to execute a series of search warrants on Thursday. OPP say the warrants were executed at various addresses in Toronto. Three men were arrested by police as a result of the investigation. Police say the men may be connected to a series of break-and-enter thefts that happened over the summer in Caledon and Durham region. A 25-year-old and a 35-year-old from Scarborough were arrested, along with a 36-year-old Toronto man. Each of them are facing charges of break and enter, theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
