In celebration of Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, the County of Simcoe recognizes the people who dedicate their lives supporting families. Celebrated across Ontario each year, on Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, people have an opportunity to recognize the contributions that child care workers and early childhood educators (ECEs) make in the lives of young children every day. Through early learning, these skilled professionals promote children’s development and well-being. The County of Simcoe invites families to watch its video, The Years Before 5 Shape Lives, available on the county’s YouTube channel, to learn more about the importance of early childhood development. Earlier this week, Warden of the County of Simcoe Basil Clarke issued a proclamation in support of child care workers and early childhood educators, ahead of tonight’s county-sponsored celebration dinner and Saturday’s We Are Stronger Together licensed child care conference.
