You may want to plan an alternate route if you’re heading out on the roads. Police say the southbound lanes of Highway 11 have closed at Memorial Avenue in Orillia due to downed power lines. The closure happened at around 3 p.m. on Thursday. Further north on the highway at Telford Line in Ardtrea, a crash involving a transport truck has caused some lane restrictions while crews clean up concrete debris. There is no word on injuries or when the lanes will reopen.
