Provincial police are trying to identify an e-bike rider who has been seen suspiciously checking vehicles around the Kawartha region. According to Kawartha Lakes OPP, the male suspect was checking vehicles in driveways across Fenelon Township, Little Britain, Cameron, and Lindsay. At around 3 a.m. Saturday morning, police say he was confronted while going through a truck, and he then fled on his e-bike. The suspect is described by police as a Caucasian man with a thin build, reportedly wearing a hoodie with ‘Jordan’ written on the front and a black Under Armour backpack. Residents are urged to keep their vehicles locked, remove their valuables, make sure their properties are well lit, roll their security cameras, and report suspicious activity.
