Provincial Police in Bracebridge have charged a group of youth with break and enter after allegedly catching them in the act. Around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, officers from Bracebridge OPP arrived at a building on McMurray Street near Quebec Street after reports of a break-in. A caller told police they heard items being broken and windows being smashed. Police say the say four young people were still inside the building when officers arrived. A 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old from Bracebridge and a 16-year-old from Huntsville have been charged with break and enter and mischief. The youth are expected to appear before an Ontario Court of Justice youth court in November. Under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identities of the youth are protected.
