Registration for New Tecumseth’s Women in Arboriculture (WOA) TreeFest 2026 is now open. The one day event is described by town as a a unique opportunity to bring together women-identifying arborists and climbers in a supportive and educational outdoor environment. The event will take place on June 20 in New Tecumseth, it offers both lessons in tree climbing for all ages, as well education on tree planting, mini forests, food forests and tree care. The event will take place at the Tottenham Conservation area and part of the day will include planting trees in the area to help restore the environment, previously damaged by the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive beetle species.
