Four suspects are facing charges after drugs and weapons were reportedly seized by police at a home in Orillia on Friday. According to Orillia OPP, officers from the detachment’s Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Community Mobilization Unit (CMU) executed a search warrant at a Fittons Road West address. Police say the officers seized 5.5 grams fentanyl, eight hydromorphone pills, 600 millilitres of methadone, four LSD tablets, traces of crack cocaine, bear spray, a .40 calibre bullet, a cellphone and other drug trafficking related paraphernalia. Four suspects from Orillia were arrested. A 56-year-old was charged with fentanyl and hydromorphone possession for the purpose of trafficking. A 40-year-old was charged with fentanyl possession. Another 40-year-old was charged with fentanyl, methadone and hydromorphone possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. A 36-year-old was charged with fentanyl and methadone possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting arrest, and three counts of probation breaching. The first three accused individuals were released are scheduled for future court dates. The 36-year-old suspect was held for a bail hearing.
