According to Bluebird Cafe and Grill, Brooke Shields made a stop at the restaurant on Sunday. With more than 40 years in the business, Shields is known for her work on a variety of shows and films, such as the 1980s Blue Lagoon, Suddenly Susan, a regular feature on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and one-time guest appearance on the sitcom Friends. “From Hollywood screens to our little corner of Orangeville, some nights are just unforgettable,” said the Bluebird Cafe and Grill in a post on social media. “An icon so many of us grew up watching and admiring, but what impressed us most wasn’t her star power - it was just how incredibly genuine, down-to-earth and personable she was,” the post reads. “So warm, gracious and an absolute delight to chat with.” According to the post from Bluebird Cafe and Grill Shields is in Ontario, filming season 2 of the comedic crime drama You’re Killing Me. “It’s not every day someone you’ve admired on screen for decades walks through your doors and we can honestly say she’s every bit as lovely in person as you’d hope,” the restaurant said.
