A fatal crash is under investigation in North Kawartha. According to OPP, police and emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle on Saturday July 25, near Fire Route 19 Road in North Kawartha. A 54-year-old person from Oshawa was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say a section of Northeys Bay Road was closed in both directions for several hours while investigators were on scene. The road has since reopened and police are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact police.
