A celebration of fashion, creativity, culture, and community, is expected to transform Downtown Collingwood into a vibrant showcase of style and artistic inspiration. The festivities begin on September 21 with the Fashion Week Gala Launch Party at Bocado, one of Collingwood’s distinctive waterfront dining destinations. This year’s theme, Fashion as Art: The Impact of Performance Art on Fashion Through the Decades, will give guests a chance to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music from the eras that shaped fashion. Host of the event, the Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA), encourages guests to dress to impress, celebrate their personal style, and enjoy an evening that sets the stage for an extraordinary week of fashion and culture. Throughout the week, Downtown Collingwood’s boutiques, retailers, and style experts will host a variety of engaging experiences, including fashion shows, personal styling, consultations, sip-and-shop events, exclusive in-store experiences and special promotions and activations. The week culminates on September 25, with Threads of Change: The Beatles’ Fashion Revolution at the Simcoe Street Theatre hosted by acclaimed fashion journalist Deirdre Kelly.
