An overnight collision has left town crews with some cleanup to do. According to provincial police, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Mayfield Road and Kennedy Road in south Caledon and took out a hydro pole, resulting in the intersection being shut down. It happened around 10:20 p.m. pm Sunday OPP say. As of 5:30 a.m., the intersection remains closed. According to the OPP, Mayfield Road is closed between Kennedy Road and Snellview Boulevard and Kennedy Road is closed between Mayfield Road and Cranforth Drive. No injures were reported. Residents are being asked to avoid the area as the intersection. There is no word yet on the cause of the collision or any charges.
