An evening adventure for one person turned into a full-blown rescue mission for a local fire department. Clearview Fire Services were called to Osprey Heights on Monday evening, just as the sun was setting, when a person climbed an approximately 50-foot-tall rock formation and could not make their way down. Clearview Fire tells CTV News it took nearly two hours to get the person down, as finding the hiker deep in the forest posed the first issue. Fire Chief Scott Davison says multiple rope systems and a number of additional lights were brought onto the trail to help assist with the rescue as fire crews worked into the night. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
