Most people dream of meeting a soccer star and one man from Alliston, Ont., took that dream even further by creating a signature fragrance inspired by one of the game’s biggest former players. Thiago Snow, founder of the brand Elegance Aroma, has launched a limited-edition perfume in collaboration with Brazilian football star Ronaldinho Gaúcho. The Italian-made fragrance, dubbed LEGACY, came to life after Snow presented Ronaldinho with a custom scent at a gala event. Snow said the former FIFA World Player of the Year was so impressed that he wanted to release the fragrance under his own name. Now, only 2,000 bottles of the eau de parfum exist. “The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, grapefruit, green apple and elemi, followed by a heart of vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli,” said Snow over media. “It settles into a smooth, lasting base of amber notes and white musk.” Snow, who has lived in Alliston for 25 years, combined his passion for perfumery with a sport that many people adore. “The fragrance was created to capture the energy, confidence and joy of the game,” he shared. Ronaldinho played on the national stage for Brazil and multiple clubs. He won two FIFA World Player of the Year awards and the Ballon d’Or. He also held major titles in the FIFA World Cup, Copa América, Confederations Cup, UEFA Champions League and Copa Libertadores. Snow previously created custom fragrances for other big names, including a perfume called SNOW MUSK for Canadian hip-hop artist Drake.
