With Christmas mere months away, it’s time to get your crayons, paint brushes or fabric swatches out, and get creative. Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation is hosting a contest for its holiday card, and the deadline is quickly approaching: September 30. The foundation is looking for original, colourful artwork focusing on the community, the holiday season or the hospital itself. Submission Guidelines: Everyone is welcome to enter, including children, youth, adults, seniors, patients, families, staff, volunteers and members of our community. Submit a high-quality photo or scan of your artwork. If the artist is under 18, a parent or guardian must provide permission. Selecting the Winning Artwork: The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation will select four winners, one for each of the age groups, and will offer a prize in addition to featuring each winner’s artwork on our holiday cards. Age categories are: The chosen artists will be contacted and receive recognition from the foundation.
