A collision involving a farm tractor and a Canadian Pacific train in New Tecumseth sent one person to the hospital in serious condition. Provincial police closed the 11th Line and 12th Line to manage the rescue at the scene. One man in their 40s was transported by air ambulance to a trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the collision remains unclear. CP Rail is investigating with the assistance of the OPP. The area was closed through the night and reopened in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
