A $100,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information on the disappearance of Autumn Shaganash from Barrie who has been missing for over two years. That’s double the amount that was approved by the Barrie Police Service Board in 2024. On Sat., June 10, 2023 at around 10 a.m., then 27-year-old Shaganash left a residence in the Letitia Heights area with a friend and walked towards Barrie’s waterfront for the air show. Shortly after leaving, the pair were filmed on video on Shelley Lane heading towards Sunnidale Road and then walking south on Sunnidale Road at Letitia Street. That was the last time Shaganash was seen. “I think about my sister every day and hope that she could come home to us. And we really miss her deeply,” Shaganash’s sister said in a video on X (formerly Twitter) posted by Barrie police. Anyone with information about the disappearance of Shaganash is asked to call the Barrie Police Service Major Crime at 705 725 7025 extension 2160. People can also provide tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers either through phone or email. “The Barrie Police are confident that someone has knowledge and can assist this investigation,” said Sergeant Brett Carleton in the video. “We will never stop working to find Autumn and bring her home to her family.”
