PENTICTON, B.C. - Bad weather is hampering the search for a B.C. couple missing in Oregon.

Albert and Rita Chretien of Penticton disappeared on a driving trip to Las Vegas after stopping at a gas station in Baker City, Ore.

Baker City police Sgt. Kirk McCormick says low cloud and snow have limited planes from tracing the possible route the Chretiens took.

A plane hired earlier by the Chretien family to check the route found no trace of the couple.

McCormick says police don't believe there has been any foul play.

RCMP have said the couple's cellphone has not been used since they vanished and their last banking transaction was in Baker City.
