A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing incident in Charlottetown, P.E.I., Monday. Officers responded to a call about an altercation near Park Street around 4:20 p.m. “It was determined that a verbal altercation between two individuals that were known to each other had escalated and that one individual was stabbed multiple times,” reads a news release from Charlottetown Police Services. A 30-year-old victim was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say Colby Strickland was arrested at the scene and taken to the Provincial Correctional Centre.
