A resurfacing project on the Confederation Bridge, which links New Brunswick and P.E.I., is set to begin next Friday. The work will take place during daylight hours, seven days a week, beginning May 1. The project is part of the bridge’s long-term maintenance program and is expected to continue through late June, weather permitting. People are being asked to plan extra travel time and consider peak periods, which are typically between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A post on the bridge’s Facebook page says one lane of traffic will be open at all times and lights and bridge control personnel will manage traffic flow.
