Power has been restored following a large outage in downtown Halifax Monday morning. The outage began around 4:20 a.m. and affected more than 3,600 customers at its peak. Nova Scotia Power said its crews were working with first responders following a fire at the Scotiabank Centre. Fire crews were seen leaving the arena on Argyle Street around 6:15 a.m. They said the fire was in an eclectic panel. No injuries were reported. Power was restored just before 7 a.m. CTV Atlantic has reached out to Events East, which operates the Scotiabank Centre, for more information. The events group has yet to respond.
