A Halifax man who lives with dementia and was reported missing has been found safe. Halifax Regional Police said the 77-year-old man was last seen around 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of South Park Street after he left his residence. He was reported missing at 5 p.m. Police said his caregivers were concerned for his safety and wellbeing. According to Halifax Regional Police, the man was safely located Monday. “We thank the public and the media for their concern and assistance,” reads a news release from the Halifax Regional Police.
