A 23-year-old man is facing charges after a robbery at a Halifax store. Police responded to a robbery at the Mumford Road Walmart on Monday around 5:15 p.m. “A man entered the store, began to steal items, then assaulted and threw the items at a security guard when they attempted to stop him,” reads a news release from the Halifax Regional Police. Police say the man fled the scene and boarded a Halifax Transit bus, where he was located and arrested.
