A man has been charged with stunting after he allegedly drove more than twice the speed limit in Bridgewater, N.S. Bridgewater Police Service says an officer was using a speed measuring device while stationed off Victoria Road just before 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. The officer reportedly caught an eastbound Ford Mustang travelling 103 kilometres per hour in a 50 km/h zone. Police say the officer tracked the vehicle to a High Street intersection where it stopped at a red light. The officer then pulled the car over near the intersection. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Lunenburg County, received a summary offence ticket for stunting. The charge carries an automatic seven-day licence suspension and, if convicted, a $2,422.50 fine.
