Police in Halifax are investigating the death of a man in the city’s north end. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report that a man had been injured in the 2400 block of Gottingen Street around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the man was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries. They have not released any additional information about the victim or said how he died, but they do say they are treating his death as a homicide. Police have also not said whether they are looking for a suspect or if the incident was random. CTV News has reached out to Halifax Regional Police for more information. Gottingen Street is closed to traffic between North and Cunard streets as investigators remain on scene.
