Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery at a Bank of Montreal on Mumford Road earlier this week. Police say they responded to the reported robbery at 6980 Mumford Rd. around 4:35 p.m. last Monday. They learned a man threatened a teller with a weapon and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot with a quantity of cash. There were no reported physical injuries. Police tried to find the suspect, but were unsuccessful. The suspect is described as standing between five-foot-eight and five-foot-11 with a medium build. He is roughly 40 years old. During the incident he partially covered his face with what appeared to be a black handkerchief and wore black jogging pants and a blue flannel jacket.
