A 69-year-old woman is in hospital after a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Windsor, N.S., Thursday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the reported collision at the intersection of O’Brien Street and Wentworth Road around 1:30 p.m. “Officers learned a Ford truck was travelling on O’Brien St. and struck a pedestrian when making a turn onto Wentworth Rd.,” an RCMP news release said. The pedestrian from Garlands Crossing suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The 58-year-old male truck driver from New Minas did not report any physical injuries.
