A watermain break has triggered a boil water advisory in part of Moncton on Monday. The City of Moncton said the watermain broke earlier in the day. The advisory applies to the area bordered by Wheeler Boulevard in the north and west, Millennium Boulevard in the south and West Lane in the east, along with the Westbrook Circle area. “The City of Moncton is evaluating all available information and is working with the Department of Health,” a news release reads. “Testing will continue over the next 72 hours to ensure the highest standards of water quality are offered to our customers.” People under the advisory are asked to boil water for a minute before drinking it, washing fruits and vegetables, cooking, brushing teeth and preparing infant formula and juices.
