Susan Holt is making a trade pitch to Canada’s other premiers by mailing them some of New Brunswick’s favourite products. “New Brunswick is home to some of the best people and the best products in the world,” says Holt, in a video posted to her social media accounts. “So I’m packing up some of them to send to Canada’s premiers, so they can experience the incredible products New Brunswick has to offer.” New Brunswick-made products in the packages sent by Holt include: Ganong chocolates, Saltwinds Coffee, Pump House craft beer, Dark Harbour Dulse, and Covered Bridge Chips. “We’re ready to break down interprovincial trade barriers and feature New Brunswick products on shelves across the country,” says Holt, in the video. Holt recently signed memorandums of understanding on trade and labour mobility with Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador. In a news conference last week, Holt said similar agreements were close to being signed with Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan.
