Two men from Moncton, N.B., have been arrested in connection with a firearm offences investigation. RCMP responded to a structure fire report at a residence on Hows Crescent in Moncton on Sunday at approximately 2:30 p.m. Moncton Fire Department told police occupants exited the home safely, but there was an unsecured firearm in the home, said an RCMP new release. Police allegedly found a handgun equipped with a 3D printed lower receiver, several rifles, magazines, ammunition and additional 3D-printed parts for handguns and rifles. A 47-year-old man and a 60-year-old man were arrested and the scene was held pending a search warrant. RCMP executed the warrant on Monday. During the search they seized: The 60-year-old man was released. The 47-year-old man was released and is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on June 30. The investigation is ongoing.
