The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest following a robbery in Moncton, N.B. Officers responded to a report of a robbery in a parking lot near the 1300 block of Mountain Road on Nov. 15 around 4:55 p.m. Police say a woman approached a parked car, opened the passenger door and was able to steal some jewelry from the passenger. “Following a brief altercation, the individual left the scene on foot before police arrived. The passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries,” a news release from the RCMP reads. The woman was wearing a pink and black headscarf at the time of the robbery. Police ask anyone who was travelling, or who lives in the area that may have a security camera or dashcam footage from the time of the incident, to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
