N.B. government spending $120K on tourism worker training, AI integration

The New Brunswick government is spending $120,000 on training for the tourism sector and the integration of artificial intelligence.

The province said the agreement between the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture and the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick will focus on enhancing digital readiness, building capacity for AI integration and online marketing, and creating training programs.

“Through key partnerships, we will help the industry build capacity in business planning, training programs and itinerary development, fostering a resilient, innovative and entrepreneurial industry ready to grow,” said Isabelle Thériault, minister of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, in a news release. “By working together, we are investing in the people who make New Brunswick’s tourism industry exceptional, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.”
