Mount Allison University in Sackville, N.B., will be closed on Wednesday after finding a “concerning message” on campus. The university said the message referenced Feb. 11, 2026, and they have decided to close all classes and on-campus activities “out of an abundance of caution.” “Any scheduled midterms will occur during the next regularly scheduled class,” said Robert Inglis, vice president of finance and administration, in a written statement. “Residences will remain accessible with keys as normal and Jennings Dining Hall will remain open Tuesday and Wednesday until 8:30 p.m. with increased Security. “Late-night will be cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday.” Inglis said they have notified the RCMP about the message. They did not provide further details about the content of the message. For more New Brunswick news, visit our dedicated provincial page.
