Jamaican superstar Shaggy set to perform in Moncton

Jamaican reggae superstar Shaggy is making his return to the Maritimes.

Known for songs like ‘Angel’ and ‘Boombastic,’ Shaggy will be coming to Moncton’s Casino New Brunswick for a show on July 14.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Shaggy is the only diamond-selling dancehall artist with over 40 million album sales. His studio album ‘Hot Shot’ reached number one of the Billboard 200, and his song ‘It Wasn’t Me’ reached the number one spot in both the U.K. and U.S.

The last time Shaggy was in the Maritimes, he headlined the Halifax TD Jazz Festival in 2023.
