Nova Scotia • Tri-County Regional Centre for Education: Due to snowfall amounts and road conditions, all schools, offices, and worksites are closed. • Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education: All schools, offices and worksites are closed to due to weather and road conditions. • South Shore Regional Centre for Education: Due to road conditions, all schools will be closed. Regional office and worksites will also be closed. • Halifax Regional Centre for Education: All schools are closed due to heavy snow and slippery road conditions throughout HRM. • Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: All schools (Cumberland County, Colchester County, Pictou County and the Municipality of East Hants) will be closed due to weather forecast and road conditions. Office and worksites will also be closed. • Strait Regional Centre for Education: There is a system shutdown in effect due to weather conditions. Classes are cancelled at all schools; all schools, buildings and worksites (Mulgrave Operations Centre, Bus Garages, Regional Office at SAERC) are closed. • Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: All schools and worksites are closed. • CSAP: Classes are canceled for south and north groups. Schools are closed for metro groups. • Acadia University will remain closed, with the exception of residences and Wheelock Dining Hall, due to the hazardous campus conditions. • Dalhousie University: Halifax and Truro campuses are closed due to weather. The University of King’s College is also closed. • Saint Mary’s University: Due to a power failure and challenging weather conditions, campus is closed for the day. • Mount Saint Vincent University is closed due to weather conditions and ongoing snow clearing operations, as well as a power outage affecting campus. • NSCAD is closed. • St. Francis Xavier University will delay opening until 11 a.m., with classes resuming at 11:30 a.m. • Cape Breton University will remain closed for the afternoon and reopen at 4 p.m. • NSCC: All campuses are closed. New Brunswick • Anglophone South School District: All buses will run on a one-hour delay. Schools will open on time. • Anglophone East School District: Caledonia Regional High School, Dorchester Consolidated School and Hillsborough Elementary School are closed. All buses in Moncton/Riverview/Dieppe/Shediac/Salisbury/Petitcodiac will run on a one-hour delay. Prince Edward Island • Public Schools Branch: Classes are cancelled due to weather/travel conditions. • French Language School Board: All schools will be closed. • University of Prince Edward Island will open at noon at both the Charlottetown and St. Peter’s Bay campuses. • Holland College: The West Prince Campus and Summerside locations will open at 10:30 a.m. All other locations will remain closed for the day due to inclement weather.
